Boy, this is such great lighting, and their frowns – especially Primma’s – look so great. I especially enjoy how well the campfire light contrasts with the dark green background.
Great jobsetting the mood with the lighting. Nothing like surviving near-death experiences together and then experiencing major loss to make one feel down…. and rather expository. Cheer up Tevor, and company! It’s just part of basic story writing to give the heroes some downs and challenges to overcome, thus leading to character growth and development. Take comfort in that 4th wall knowledge and that it’s a trick being well applied t this tale!

A prime example of the lighting matching the mood. Their journey into the Ruinlands sure is off to a bad start!
For the first time I feel sad for Tevor :(. I haven’t liked him at the beginning, but now…sorry Tev
I hope Tevor finds either his pendant or . . . . . .his sister!
