    Flashback Sequence is a Go!

Wow, strange to see Rugyam being nice and helpful. Y’know, instead of being evil and murdery like he is now.

I like this already, it shows there is not just good and evil, i literally hate how movies and games often show only black and white with no grey areas. Everyone in those worlds have a reason how they act later, the only questionable thing for such is later if such are redeemable and if they even want to, depending on there past and future actions.

I always love it when stories show the “why” behind the antagonists’ “how”.

So had to go back and re-examine the first couple pages of the comic to confirm this. I am now 85% sure Gael’s mom is the same Windborn we see die in the prologue. Feel kind of silly for not picking up on this sooner!

The windborn in the prologue was Vandur.

Whether this Windborn is Vandur or not, Gael’s mom isn’t Vandur, as he is a male.

It seems that Rugyam used to have a heart…maybe he still does.
